Issues in Finance and Banking - M25863
The purpose of this module (see details here) is to provide first year students in the BSc Economics, Finance and Banking with an early exposure to a selected number of topics and economic theories.

Economics of Money, Banking and Financial Markets - M25844
This is a core module (see details here) in the second year of the course BSc Economics, Finance and Banking and an optional module for the other courses in Business, Economics and Management. The module is split in two streams:
- Banking and Financial Markets (FM) - Interest rates, stock markets, rational markets, financial crises, banking and bank management, financial regulation, banking industry
- Central banks and Monetary Policy (MP) - Central banks, monetary theory, monetary policy
International Banking and Financial Instruments - M25842
This is a core module (see details here) in the third year of the course BSc Economics, Finance and Banking and an optional module for the other courses in Business, Economics and Management. The module is split in two streams:
- International Banking (IB) - Banking at international level, risks and risks management, central banks and monetary systems, international financial system and regulations, international banking systems
- Financial Instruments (FI) - Interest rates, bonds, foreign exchange, international parities, futures, options, swaps
Economics Research Project - M30871
This a core module in the third year of the courses BSc Economics, BSc Economics, Finance and Banking, and BA Economics and Management. I will be happy to supervise econometrics dissertations or policy reports in one of the following broad areas:
- war, security, defence
- central banking
- charitable organisations
- space, aviation and maritime industries
